About Us

 

Iranian Student Association at University of Mississippi was established at August 2017. Our purpose is to:

• Introduce the Iranian culture to the non-Iranian community of  not only the University of Mississippi but also the beautiful town of Oxford.
• Bridge the gap between all students at the University of Mississippi regardless of color, race, and origin through cultural, scientific, social, and educational activities.
• To promote Iranian culture and traditions by organizing events for all Iranian and people who are interested in Iranian culture.
• The ISAUM will remain a non-religious and non-political entity. Defined: non- religious- will not promote nor discriminate any religion or practitioners any religion. Defined: non-political will neither support nor demote any particular political party in the United States, the Government of Iran, and any Organization or Political entity in opposition.
• To provide a connection between the Iranian community and the other communities.
• To be non-profit and will not be a medium for a person of monetary profit from any activities.
